Background and Experience:

Dr. Boggs gained her clinical experience from various community counseling centers, where she offered therapy and psychological services. She specializes in Gottman Couples Therapy and employs Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR) for single-incident traumas and childhood traumas. Her prior training has enabled her to work effectively with clients of all ages who are dealing with grief, anxiety, trauma, life changes, and relationship conflicts.

Dr. Boggs considers it an honor to support her clients through challenging situations and strives to help them reach their full potential. She aims to establish a safe and compassionate environment where clients can express themselves freely without fear of being judged. Dr. Boggs believes that empathy and acceptance are critical components of the therapeutic relationship, which is instrumental in fostering client healing and growth. She works collaboratively with clients to identify their unique strengths and abilities that might have been overlooked during difficult times. Her approach to care is tailored to the individual, taking into account the physical, mental, emotional, cultural, and spiritual aspects of their lives.
