Background and Experience:
Ciara believes that each person is capable of healing, growth, and resilience and is dedicated to meeting a person where they are at. Since she was a kid herself, she knew she wanted to help people and became a mentor to kids and teens throughout the entirety of her childhood, adolescence and young adulthood. She has experience working with children, adolescents and young adults in various types of settings, including schools, ministries, residential treatment facilities, and community mental health settings. Additionally, Ciara has training in working with individuals and couples.

Ciara is passionate in creating a safe and non-judgmental space for people to work on their therapeutic goals. With compassion and warmth, she will collaborate with you to discover your strengths and process through identity issues and life’s struggles.
Ciara works with an eclectic approach in an effort to collaborate with the client on their needs and wants within a therapeutic setting. Ciara has training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT), Gottman Couple Therapy, and has experience with working with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
Outside of a therapeutic setting, Ciara spends her time paddle boarding, reading, attending Mariner’s games, and going on adventures.
