She takes an integrative approach to therapy and draws primarily from attachment-based, psychodynamic, humanistic, and person-centered frameworks. She is interested in helping clients explore relational patterns, identity development, emotional experiences, life transitions, and the ways past experiences continue to shape present functioning. She emphasizes building a strong and authentic therapeutic relationship and works collaboratively with clients to support their growth and healing.

Abby integrates various counseling modalities into her practice, with a particular interest in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Internal Family Systems. She also has training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and has experience with Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Outside of her academic and clinical work, Abby enjoys spending time with friends at local coffee shops and setting up camp by the waterfront for long sunny days. She loves reading, board games, and playing all sports.
