Education and Training:

Doctor of Psychology from Northwest University (anticipated August 2025)

Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Northwest University

Masters of Public Administration from University of West Georgia

Bachelors of Arts from Ohio Dominican University

Christine is a current postdoctoral psychological resident whose focus is on psychological assessment and counseling. Christine is anticipated to graduate from Northwest University in August 2025 with a doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology. She recently completed her doctoral level Internship at the National Psychology Training Consortium-HealthPoint where she provided counseling as well as brief Autism and ADHD assessments in a primary care setting. She also has experience working with adolescents and young adults experiencing depression, trauma, and anxiety related disorders in a university counseling center setting. Her experiences also include working with adults experiencing OCD and/or anxiety in a private practice setting.

Background and Experience:

Christine’s previous professional life includes working with not-for-profit organizations over her career as well as in local and state government organizations, assisting mission-driven organizations and helping them to thrive.

As a counselor, Christine draws from a humanistic tradition that seeks to create an environment through which clients may feel safe and reach their full potential. This means understanding the cultural worldview of the client and integrating all aspects of the client (mind, body, soul, spirit) from a holistic framework. 

Christine integrates modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention and Solution Focused Therapy while also using a strengths and values focused foundation.  

Special Interests and Services:

At Avanti, Christine has a special interest in working with children, adolescents, adults and families to conduct comprehensive psychological assessments particularly for diagnostic assessment and clarification of Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. Thus, conducting assessments to better understand strengths, challenges, and ways in which clients can be further supported.

As a therapist, Christine also has an interest in working with adults and adolescents experiencing depression, anxiety, OCD, and trauma as well as with children and families seeking parent coaching/behavior support.

Outside of clinical work, Christine enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, and traveling.
