Current Student in the Doctor of Psychology Program at Northwest University

Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Northwest University

Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from North Carolina State University

Gottman Level 2 Certified

Background and Experience:

Daniel was born and raised in Sweden and moved to the United States in 2018. Before pursuing Psychology, he served around the world in humanitarian aid work. He is passionate about helping individuals better understand themselves, navigate life's challenges, and build meaningful lives. He believes that every person's thoughts, emotions, and behaviors developed for a reason and strives to create a therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, understood, and accepted.

Daniel has experience providing therapy to adolescents, adults, and couples experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and identity development. He also has experience working in community mental health and is especially interested in men's mental health, relationships, and questions of purpose and meaning.

Special Interests and Services:

Daniel takes a collaborative and integrative approach to therapy, tailoring treatment to each client's unique needs and goals. He draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Existential Therapy, and the Gottman Method for couples.

His goal is to provide a warm, authentic, and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their experiences, build on their strengths, and create meaningful change. Outside of the therapy office, Daniel enjoys spending time with his wife and son, reading Tolkien, traveling, and exploring the Pacific Northwest.
